Hi guys welcome to our monthly blog!
We’re a little late with this one due to work load but still excited to share some of G R Electrical Services news over the last month.
Firstly we wanted to pay homage to the old transit that we’ve had to let go in April 🙁 sad times.
On the other hand we are pleased to introduce our new workhorse in the form of our Silver Citroen Dispatch 🙂 We hope it treats us well and certainly looks a little fresher than our old workhorse.
So we’d better mention something relevant and talk about some of the electrical work we’ve been doing in Rotherham and Sheffield over the last month!
We’ve managed to cram in 6 bathrooms for a variety of our work contacts, 4 of which have been through the Wickes Bathroom teams. These generally involve spotlights and LED mirror installation and are mostly are in Sheffield, recently in Wincobank and Hansworth. The other bathrooms were again local in Rotherham and passed on via a private local plumbing company in Bramley called DCL Plumbing and Heating who always produce a quality Bathroom from start to finish.
We’ve also had 2 x separate TV installations that have been wall mounted which made a nice variety of projects for us. The one we completed in Bramley, Rotherham looks absolutely stunning. We were tasked with moving all Audio Visual cables from one side of the room to a false chimney breast with the new inset TV position. This also included smart technology via Cat 6 cabling and obviously power sockets! Check out our Facebook post for the photos .
Some of our more in depth jobs in April have included a full rewire we started in Barnsley which is now ready for plastering, a partial rewire / renovation project in Maltby and commencement of of a full rewire in Brinsworth, Rotherham which is now ready for 2nd fix. These should be completed over the course of the next month or so, and we will update you on our Blog at the end of May.
We’ve also had 3 new conservatories either completed or are half way through which also look amazing with modern LED lighting. Pictures are again on our facebook page.
It would be good to mention at this stage the company who supply, fit and build the conservatories who regularly pass over the electrical work to G R Electrical Services. Truestyle Windows and Property Repairs Ltd are a really professional outfit based in Dinnington, Sheffield. We would certainly recommend Truestyle Windows to any home owners with glazing, external doors or conservatory enquiries.
Our biggest job of this year has started this week too which is a house extension on Moorlands in Wickersley. We will be re-wiring the rest of the property as we go along with the project. We plan to do a separate blog on this job with videos so we can show you guys how we install and understand the planning that goes on behind the scenes from us electricians.
We are going to leave you all to enjoy yet another Bank Holiday weekend now! We are unavailable to take any projects on until Tuesday 8th May at the earliest now but look forward to checking in soon.
